I figured you would be in your twenties or thirties, seeing as how you're a fan of Black Flag and they broke up years and years ago.
Happy Birthday.
How's you know I liked Black Flag?
And thanks Shrout. I say thanks a lot.

Heh... I had no idea so many people were so close in age here at ASW. I turn 16 in August.
However, someone said that driving at 16 is sure...
Not in my case. i wont be driving for a good... well, ok, i dont know for sure, but i seriously doubt that i'll be behind a wheel running people over during year 16 of that concept they call life.

Were you expecting your life to magically change overnight? Like, at midnight you turn 16 and *POOF* you get D-cup breasts or something?
That's what I'm hoping for..I've got two months!

I was 17 and a half when I started taking driving classes. Until that point, I never had a reason to drive, especially since I didn't have a car and am not inclined to buy one with limited parking at my college. Now, I carpool, but I can drive - it helps for those seven hour commutes from NM to CO every weekend.

I wouldn't be learning if my parents weren't forcing me to. I resisted because of the $ factor (and because I'm scared to be hurling a ton or two of metal down the road at 45mph), but they said they would buy me a car and pay for insurance.

Some "How did you get your user name" topic a while ago. You said your friend took you to a Black Flag concert and you loved them. When you started doing stuff online, you wanted to use "Black Flag" as your handle, but it was taken, so you started using "Black Flags", but that was taken somewhere else and you started using "lotsofblackflags".
Or something along those lines.
On the topic of driving, I took driver's ed nearly three years ago and hadn't gotten behind the wheel since then until about two weeks ago. It scared the **** out of me, but now that I started driving my dad's car, it has become quite comfortable. I only have an instruction permit now, so I still need an adult riding shotgun.

Heh. Close enough. It was a cually a joke. I tired using "ablackflag" but somebody else had taken it, so as a joke I said "lotsofblackflags". My friend thought that was really funny, so I stuck with it.

I like driving. I was at Donner Lake, and I left something at home down the road, and my friend let me take his car. It was fun.
What was it.

Somehow I think that every birthday is the same, you always want to be older, then you want to younger. Quite frankly I think the perfect age is 1, you have no clue whats going on and you don't have to do anything.
Though I haven't experience anything but 0-16, I would think the 0-22 are the best. During that time you have someone else paying for stuff, and you are pretty much free to do whatever, and you are in your best physical condition.
