Hmm... no.

I'd liken it more to a sniper rifle. In some long ago incidents it was occasionally a cruise missile, where we've seen karma bombings of the Shock-n-Awe™ variety.

How so? As I see it, it would be very difficult to improve on a simple measure of something like a post count. Placing such a value would be akin to saying something like "we've improved the actual quantity of days in a year" or "we've improved the quantity represented by the number three", it's just not something that such a value judgement can be placed upon. Three will always represent the quantity of three, adding one to that quantity does not improve the quantity of three as three already exists in the resulting four. But for some things, quality is in direct relation to quantity. For example, a large number of ass hairs is bad. To improve on the number of ass hairs is to remove them.

What Zortium is getting at is that for µ, a lower post count indicates fewer crappy posts, which is a good thing.
