Any protein. If I remember my biology, DNA and protein are not related.
DNA is the "code" for making protiens. Or something.

I thought proteins were made from amino acids.
Let me throw around some terms that I forget what they are:
DNA
RNA
Protein
Polypeptide chain
amino acid

mRNA
DNA - strings of genetic material
RNA - single helixes rather than double helixes, does other stuff that I can't remember
Protein - found in cell walls; controls the gathering of nutrients for the cell
Polypeptide chain - if I'm not mistaken, these chains make up either amino acids or DNA (hey, I'm digging into the recesses of my brain here)
amino acids - make up proteins, 21 different kinds, I think
mRNA - messenger RNA, controls how the amino acids make the different proteins I think

Okay, time to think....
Ah, DNA codes for amino acids, which in turn make protiens. Something like that.

Computers are smarter then you. They get mad at you if you just use your powerful CPU to surf the net and type boring word documents. If you listen very hard, you can hear the millions of G5s, G4s, P4s, and Zeons screaming in pain as they spend another day simply processing AOL instant messenger commands. Folding@home is a way for them to do something challenging. Folding@home gives your processor that opportunity to flex its muscle. Your processor has to analyze what proteins do right before they do something else. While the proteins do this the "fold". Your computer analyzes this. This is a good thing because 1) your computer stays happy and 2) you are pushing forward the science of proteins.

You are correct. Amino acids do chain together to form proteins (among other things).
