I loathe it when they do that. They've ruined so many wonderful works of art that way: mis-casting.

I liked Peeves, and they left him out of the entire series

No, they're gonna put him in I think it's the fourth movie. They've also left out Cho so far.

They filmed parts with Peeves in the first one but they decided to cut him out. I was sooo mad. Also they cut out the death day party which buys them a one way ticket to hell.

Actually, I don't believe Cho appears until the third book anyway. She certainly doesn't play much of a role until the fourth.

I don't like the witchcraft is Harry Potter (at all). Yeah, the Lord of the Rings movies (currently two, soon to be three) are kind of violent, but the books are cool. I bet book sales really increased with both titles after the fist movies were out. And yes, the Lord of the Rings series is kind of hard to read (for younger kids), but The Hobbit is easier.

Eh?

In "The Fellowship of the Ring" movie I was severly pissed that they didn't have the barrow downs or Tom Bombadle, and in the Two Towers I was pissed that they cut the Huorns (or however you spell it) luckily they have it in the extended edition, or I might have just had to kill them.

The only problem with Two Towers was that awful gigantic gaping plot hole they created for the sake of Hollywood drama.

Two Towers had a number of problems, things taken out of the books and things added in. Example, Elronds little speech to Arwen about how she shouldn't marry Aragorn because he will die and she won't. If she married him, however, she would become mortal just like him, something he should know perfectly well.

Yeah, the (Lord of the Rings/Hobbit) books were better than the movies. I've read all five (well, not quite all five) books in the series, and it beats anything in the Potter series (even though I'd never read the Potter series Posted Image ).

Lifeknight, what are you smoking? It could just be me, but your posts make less sense as i read them. I'm tempted to accuse you of being a two year old child.

1)What does the thing quoted by TheLoser mean?

2)What does "I've read all five (Well not quite all five)" mean? Have you not finished the Simarillion or something?

3)Is it just me? Do these posts both make perfect sense?

I don't think yours make much sense either..just and opinion.

I still like Cho though..I mainly wanna see what she looks like.

The first one left out the potions room too..that made me mad..my mom was sitting there."How did Ron and Hermione get back? How did Harry get forward?" It would've been better with that part.

I thought it was messed up when they let so many fouls by in the quiditch match, in quiditch they have causulties, but they're not supposed to happen. When Wood went down I was like "FOUL YOU BAS-" Then stopped 'cause my dad was watching it with me.

Welcome to CGI.

It really sucks to have a boring sig. You know, the kind that drones on forever and never really says anything. I try my best to never have one of those. Every time I make a new sig I try to get it to be a truly outstanding sig. Some people have sigs like that. With neat (EVula) links and stuff. Witty quotes are good too. But then some people have really, really, boring sigs that you'd die before reading more of. They just go on, and on, and on...those sigs really annoy me. I mean, they say nothing and nobody really cares anyway! I pity the people who have those.

It could have been worse, they could have let me animate the entire Quidditch scene by myself.

That would've made it awesome. Trying to catch that ball and suddenly the ground swirls into a painfully bright color, tentacles lash out, and everyone gets pulled down to their deaths.

The scene looked okay (I last watched it about a year ago, so that's my impression), but i hated the broomsticks. Big brown chunks of wood with bristles at the end. Not my impression of "sleek", like what I got in the books. And from what I remember, they made very Formula-One-esque noises. *shudders* To me, the entire Harry Potter movie wasn't what I imagined it would be. It was...*racks brain for the word* heavy. and draggish.

LOTR is good. It's a great story, and the actors were believable. Not to mention the incredible special effects. And Elvish. w00t. But Sauron looked like a fireplace grate.

Gollum!=Dobby any day. (From what I know, that means that Gollum kicks Dobby's ***, could some helpful soul clarify my thoughts?)

Yeah, and that's not at all due to the fact that they have a bunch of kids flying around on brooms while chasing after magic flying balls in a big ring. Posted Image
