The scene I was quoting is when Theoden and Aragorn, and all of those types are preparing to ride out of the fortress. It's kind of a battle cry thing. Theoden says: "Fell deeds awake. Now for wrath, now for ruin, and the red dawn." Then they charge the Orcs.

by the time i got around to reading LOtR, it seemed kinda cliched (can't make accents). some young, unlikely boy finds out that he has some incredible power, right as some evil tyrant tries to take over the world. been there, done that. *yawn*
i did like HP for some reason, though. even though it follows the above formula to a more extreme level...

Frodo is around 50 when he finds out about the ring, he just didn't look it because the ring stopped him from ageing. LOTR was a really good read, I read it a lot.

If you were to really read into it, LOTR is alot more complex then that.
