Its amazing how complex you can make something just with a string of boolean arguments. Actually, its probably not that surprising if you know your powers of two, but still...

Well, imagine life a complex series of yes/no or true/false questions. Then, string a chain of them together.
As an example, say you decide to cross a street at a place that isn't near a crosswalk without looking. You can create a string of boolean arguments to explain how the scene plays out.
To be technical, booleans are usually true/false - but that's just writing a yes/no question as a statement.
A. Is there a car coming? Yes.
B. Are you aware that the car is coming? No.
C. Is the driver aware that you just jumped into the road? Yes. (we'll say you're lucky)
D. Is the driver unable to stop in time? Yes.
E. Is the driver able to swerve into the other lane to avoid hitting you? Yes.
F. Are you hit by this particular car? No.
The more specific you feel like being, the more detailed (and longer) your chain gets. Its related to the scientific principle of simplicity - that its possible to break down life into fundamental "yes/no" questions.

Probably because "yes or no" questions are easier to answer or begin to answer than something that's open-ended. "Do we exist?" and "is there a god?" are a bit easier to think about than "why do we exist?" or "how were we created?"
