I'm going to say that the Second Grand Lockfest shouldn't begin right now. Give it a week and µ will calm down again and a new crop of topics will take over. If the current situation remains (and µ and GD manage to get through it without hitting -10) a Second Grand Lockfest will have my
full support (my full support comes with a can of tuna fish and an official-looking certificate, it is worth waiting for).

I vote we have a second great locking, if only because I'm hungry and a can of tuna fish sounds appetizing right now...

Though of course, there aren't enough topics to lock for it to be too significant. Wait until the entire first page is full of green dots, then lock all topics in the past year or something.

I still have those spinach cupcakes from oh-so-long-ago that nobody ate. They're a little greener than before, but so what?

By the way, that last post was on a windows, and I still found that elusive character μ.

Seriously, if you know what font you use, its all in the character map.

Double-posting is frowned upon, Avatara. In the future, please use the edit function. Posted Image

On the computer I posted it, running Windows XP, it was a µ. Here on a mac in OS X its a -µ, which is still pretty close. Judging from µ's last post quoting me, its a -ì or something for her. Windows don't seem to use standardized character sets among varying OSes, and I can't do the preset definitive html code as that is not enabled.

Guess Panther doesn't either. Though, it could just be the font settings everyone has.

Your infamous µ looks like a -? on the old WebTV. I might mention that µ is alt-m on this (WebTV) keyboard and is also alt-m on my Quantex running Windows 2000 (and, of course, option-m on everything else I own), its been pretty standard on everything I've used.

I don't really care too much, alt-m doesn't work at school for whatever reason (neither does control-m). I'm just fine with the option-M I can use at home. It was just so µ wouldn't be able to complain she couldn't refer to herself.
