Hmmmm...

Have to agree with the asterisk on that one - there is a total uncool factor too randomly approaching some chick and using a foriegn language. Real skill means you don't need it to be romantic...

You, EVula, are of course allowed to beleive whatever you want, But Mr. Shrout1 knows absolutely nothing of what he/she is talking about.

French is perfectly romantic if you know the person and are too scared to tell them in any way they'll understand. As I said My friend didn't use french in the end, and it still fell through for him.

You are of course entitled to beleive what you want, but romantic is in the eye of the beholder. Whereas I might find it better to just speak outright, I also would like to help my friends when they ask for it. Unless you are one of my friends, or know Caleb, or the girl he tried to ask out, then your opinion is completely meaningless.

I cannot beleive anyone ever liked you. For the simple reason of: I know you.
In the interest of answering your question I have three reasons: 1) I'm a lot more perseptive then you, 2) I have been hanging out with this person for more then a year. 3)She told my friend, who then told me.

As a matter of interest, Carinae, do you deliberately attempt to epitomise the intractable male lout, or is it an innate skill?

Actually, it does sometimes, seem that most guys actually, do go fot the "hot chicks" I don't get it. Shouldn't the beauty inside be the most important factor? I guess it is a good thing though. Because, if you're ugly, and a guy goes out with you anyway..it means he's not shallow, and that he's a real man.

Who decides what's ugly and pretty?

Ugly and pretty are in the eye of the beholder.

Example: In the Lord of the Rings movie, my stupid little brother says that Arwen is ugly, and Eowen is pretty, Wheras my opinion is that Arwen is pretty, and Eowen, though not ugly, is not pretty.

You see. Some people, myself generally included, behold something other then looks when they judge this. As you said: "Shouldn't the beauty inside be the most important factor?"

I'd really like to wake up next to a "hot chick" I've tired it where she was not so hot, very very uncomftable, I had a hangover, so I could not conceal I thought she looked much worse then the night before (damn long Island iceteas) Not good for her not good for me that I inadvertenly acted like a jerk.

And yes substance is very important for me, I look at a girl I can say ohh I like her looks, then I try to feel her out what kind of type is she, If I feel she's charming average or above in intelligence then i go for her, also I like quite girls as I have to drag more out of them, more of a fight, and I like to corrupt people!
So I look for females that have it all, and no the tits are not important for me, I just act like it for fun.

There's actually a lengthy documentary arguing that beauty is rather innate, based on symmetry, skin color (vibrant = good), healthiness, and even a certain waist:hip ratio for women and men. It also argues that beauty matters more for first impressions in men while women usually care more about the "inside" of a man - as µ mentioned.

nope he has a point, beautiful people are defined as having symmity, the other reason why people pick differnet types is the nature of man.
