Dude...so much better with raisins.

Besides, without raisins it's just a log...and that sounds...icky.

I disagree. Celery definitely has uses. It's good in stuffing. Also, ants on a log (celery sticks filled with peanut butter, with raisins on top...for anyone who never had them as a kid) are yummy. It's also good in pasta sauce.

I'll give you the stuffing, the ants on a log (although I prefer pimento spread on celery sticks myself), and even the use of celery in chicken salad and various stir-fry dishes, but celery in pasta sauce is blatant heresy and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.

You lie. A bit of celery along with lots of onions, peppers, and mushrooms, makes awesome pasta sauce. Easiest way to make it seem like you made sauce from scratch -- add sautéed veggies to a jar of sauce. :P

Your taste in pasta has clearly been destroyed by years of carefully-plotted commercial degradation. I pity you.

And yes, I am back. So y'all better prepare to be moderated.

Well, it's good to have you back, Sundered Angel. If no one else will, could you lock my topic, The Death Star Disco Lounge? Please.
