Hey, I haven't been here for three months because my computer finally died. But I got a PSP so I'm back! So, what'd I miss?
I didn't post here for a year and a half at one point...Three months is a good break.

Moving right along, I don't believe that we've discussed recently the forum guidelines on derailing threads. I personally believe that dramatic shifts in thread topic detract from the readability of the forum - what are your thoughts?

There's nothing terribly distinctive up here. I've noticed a lot of restaurants serving stuff with "a northwest twist," but I have no idea what said twist is. Maybe it's a special flavor which turns people into environmentalists.
Salmon man, salmon.

Little do the environmentalists know, but that special flavor in everything is salmon killed by dam-building mixed with sap from the razing of thousand year old pine forests, all irradiated down at Hanford.

Actually the environmentalists know about it and are protesting on blogs from there well cooled houses built of lumber in the the city of Portland or Seattle. They also drive to rallies, in their Toyota Prius's that have battery's made primarily of heavy metals that poison the environment when disposed of, to protest with wooden signs while holding up traffic increasing car fumes. But I think they definitely know.
