That really was a great film.

Edit: It also just occured to me that not only were a solid proportion of the folks now present here not in high school when it came out, but a lot of them were like 5 and might miss the reference completely. This almost scares me a little.

Not to mention that their story has to also be worth a damn. I find that a majority of band camp stories floating around out there end with the statement, "Oh, well, you had to be there." If you had to be there you have either not done a good enough job of telling the story, or the story sucks. Furthermore, if the story doesn't suck, then you sure as hell aren't starting it off with "This one time, at band camp..." I mean, even the immortal, "...I stuck a flute in my pussy." isn't so much the basis for a decent story as it is a sharp segue into sex.

Nobody should be allowed to utter the phrase unless they're referencing the movie or sex acts with musical instruments in general, even if they have been to band camp.

My point was that they're the ones who make the laws so they are the ones who need to be talked to. Talking to the manager of your favorite restaurant probably isn't going to get a law made.

See, I thought both of the changes that were a big deal were for the better.

On the other hand, if fanatics had more influence over him, maybe the abominations that were Episodes 1 and 2 would never have occurred.

I don't mind the senate or the plot, but 1-3 haters should actually watch 4-6 sometime, and realize it's all crappy acting and mostly action. Jar Jar haters should take a look at C-3PO from 4-6 as well. 1-3 were great because we actually got to see real lightsaber fighting. That's all Star Wars is really about, and 1-3 delivered.
