Does raising a member's warning level to 100% automatically ban them from the forums, in the style of the old karma-bans? It's been so long that I've forgotten.

I suspect rather that it might, yes.

I laugh in the face of danger! Ha! Ha! Ha!

{I also quickly read all of the ATT topics in case I can't visit them again for a while}

But, seriously. Banning someone rather than deal with them is kinda a misuse of moderater powers. I have to deal with people here. Everyone does. And we have to do it without being able to kick them off the internets. I'm the administrator on my forum. so I have to have moderation in my moderator powers, too. I'm lucky enough to not have had to deal with someone like myself as of yet, because I don't care about whether someone is a mod or not when I make a remark towards them. I suspect that this could get frustrating as a mod.

I say this because people seem of the opinion that I'm asking for a ban. Therefore I offer my thoughts on the matter. I'm not asking not to be banned. If I get banned I'll deal with it. I'm just saying that that would seem like a bad way to handle things, if someone isn't being an !!@hole. And I hardly think I was that.

Just don't mod-bait and I'm sure you'll be fine. I can't even remember the last person I banned - was it sp1cadet for his bile in an abortion debate? Or one of those old-school spam-spewers we used to get every now and again in ATT?

The last banned member of ATT that I can think of was Stryker. He was part of that group with Azeroth that for a time rivaled the Reno crew in power.

Heh, I was looking through some of this Stryker's guy's post and came across this. Were standards really that much higher then?

No, but they were more rigorously enforced.

I'll let you call me "Captain Irrelevant" if I can call you "Cat which is soon to become roadkill".

Deal?

You DO NOT poke fun at Felix the cat. Felix is a ######ing cat-deity. HE IS NOT SOMEONE YOU TALK ABOUT LIGHTLY.
I guess so.

I've never really cared much for Felix.

Felix rates considerably above many cartoons, in my opinion.
Not Tom and Jerry, though. Nothing can beat Tom and Jerry.

And the winner of the text only entry goes to CrazyChick for "Watch for B&B on bridge." Encountering the B&B anywhere is dangerous enough. Throwing a bridge into the recipe is an equation for disaster. - Ragashingo
