I could work with that. Flying seems much more fun anyway.
My dad and I were talking about flying on broomsticks. He seems to think I shouldn't hold my breath. But I think that someday people will fly around on broomsticks. I would personally rather have a flying motorcycle (a bit more comfortable I think) But I'm sure they'll be able in the next hundred years.
My sister wants to ride into town on a lamp post. Cool eh? Her rational behind it, is that no matter when she goes out, she can hang on and read and there'd always be light.

Actually, I'd prefer the force lance from andromeda. That thing had computer-aided aiming and "smart" guided explosive bullets (see the episode where tyr does but doens't murder a fish-person), as well as the ability to throw lightning into your enemy (see the zombie episode, not sure of the name). It could also work as a plasma grenade, a PD turret, a grappling hook, and oh yeah, a staff.
