The thing about New Jersey is, they're all crazy drivers..but it's like they know what they're doing.

From my experience, it seems like they have absolutely no idea what they're doing. I was in Jersey last week, and it was horrific. Especially the part when I drove through Atlantic City.

The crazy thing about this is that you're both right... Sort of. It's this weird effect where, since they're all complete ######ing nuts and incompetent on the road to some degree, they know what to expect from each other. Thus why they honk and curse at anyone who follows motor laws, doesn't go any higher than 15 above the limit, can't figure out cryptic directions like "turn at the fork in the road," doesn't have a Jersey plate, etc. Much of Jersey certainly has some rewarding scenery though, if you like abandoned/condemned/trashed factories as much as I do. But I'm sure you know alll this :P

@Cippy: When are you going to be settling in in NYC?

Oh yes. If you ever get the chance, might I suggest NITRO. I think it's one of the best coasters I've ever been on. Sooooo goood.

I've heard good things. My brother has been there a few times, and he is a fan of this ride. I'll try to make it there someday.

Either way, they can't drive. I do like the beaches in Jersey, but I'd rather see Jersey get nuked so Pennsylvania can have a beach. ;)

I'm a bit envious of your hair, Dave. Mine tends to start falling flat when it gets around an inch and a half tall.

I am also from Pennsylvania. Land of the ignorant mergers and badly signed roads.

You know, in New England they have a saying "if you don't know where you are, you shouldn't be there". Most roads don't have street signs. It's gotten better, but not by much. It's weird going out to say, Colorado, where every single intersection has huge signs.

I got that in Victoria, BC. You can't swing a stick out here in NM without hitting a speed limit sign, up on Vancouver Island you can't find one to save your life, which is made especially annoying by those Canadians' insistence on quantifying velocity with a logical system foreign to any reasonable Yank.

I am envious of how good you look in your picture, mine makes me look like i have a really horrible mullet (I didn't, it was a very unfortunately placed shadow).

And if you guys want a driving challenge try driving through London. It's bloody horrible. I had an argument with my father about it once, he said that driving in Nottingham is worse, because everyone beeps at you. I said in London they don't bother beeping, they just drive at you and expect you to be the one that moves. Not to mention all the suicidal scooter couriers. It's just horrible...

I can't wait. :P As long as it's not stop and go traffic all the time. That's the WORST. Although I can't imagine anything being worse than San Francisco traffic at rush hour.

Hopefully before I die. I have to stop spending my money on stupid stuff first...like gas, and cell phone, and gym memberships. You wouldn't think it'd take that much. But you'd be surprised.

London is one of those places I have to go to before I die as well. Why? To get a British accent, of course.

I'm a very competitive driver, so I think I could handle London.

Get a British accent. Get girls. It's a simple as that. DE's after the real thing.

I'm afraid if I go I'll never come back. (Not just London, but lots of Eurpoe) Then again.. how horrible could that be :P
