Kasey Chambers - Sign On the Door
I've never understood her total lack of appeal amongst Americans. Sure, sure. Country listeners are flag-waving fascists who wouldn't allow an Aussie in (Keith Urban had 4 #1 hits in Australia, moved to Nashville, and found work as a backup guitarist for a decade before being able to break into the US country charts - it's not like he somehow got a million times better or anything, he was just from the southern hemisphere), and now she's been branded with the alt-country label which is death to mainstream success, but still. She's hit #1 with three albums in Australia and yet has never once registered on the American charts. Weird.

sonic youth - nic fit
And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
