Throat Coat is a tea that makes your throat feel better. It doesn't really do anything but soothe it. But boy is it nice :P

As you've nicely pointed out, something doesn't have to be "scientific" to succeed in making one feel better.

I ALMOST said "that's what she said" in response to Jaca. But I didn't.

Yeah.. but Throat Coat actually does something.. whereas Airborne is a waste of money because it doesn't do anything.

I'm sure it does something; half of it is Vitamin C which plenty of people use when they think they're getting a cold.

So take Vitamin C. If it's the vitamin C don't spend twice as much on something that does the same exact thing.

Eat food that has vitamin-c in it regularly, and you'll be fine.

Did you know that if you don't have any Vitamin C (I mean.. any at all) for four weeks, your gums will start to fall apart? After a little while longer your skin will fall off and you'll die!!

But it's pretty impossible to do, there's Vitamin C in practically everything.

If you consume too much Vitamin C you get kidney stones. And trust me, you do not want kidney stones.

I promised pictures of my new set up, so here they are. The only main difference is that I've separated my desks, one now being on the other end of my room.

Posted Image

This is my main work desk. The main items are my Mac Pro, 2 x 17" Apple Displays, several hundred USB bits and bobs, my old 350Mhz iMac. All my various video studio equipment, my most expensive bottles of alcoholic beverages and my Magic The Gathering spare card chest.

Posted Image

This is my windows computer's desk, used mainly for gaming. Nothing special about it really, next to it is my DVD shelf and my computer games shelf next to that. please also note the Lava lamp, rubik's cube and Star trek encyclopedia, amoungst several over geeky books. A closer picture of my gaming desk can be found here, incase anyone really wants to look closer at my book shelf :P

Thank you, I like to think it is. Everything has a home, and is right where I want it to be. Plus my DVD collection is in alphabetical order...

My only question is where do you put your legs?

He is actually able to fold his legs neatly under him, thus elevating him to the proper viewing level.

Oh and H, How on Earth to you keep them alphabetized? If I had to re-alphabatize them every time I got a new movie, I'd go nuts.

I'd just take the last DVD in the row out and put it in the front of the row below it and keep moving DVDs down until I hit a row with extra space. And then put the new DVD in the row of its letter.

No no no... It's the number of rows that are the factor in how long it takes, not the number of discs. In Lektor's case their are 8 rows, so if you were putting a new disc on the top row, you'd only have to move 9 discs.

Hmm.. Maybe. I'm the type of person where you'd have to move all of them.

I believe I have five movies on DVD at this point.
