Indeed. Practice is, and always has been, for suckers. I used to be a damn fine violist and still wonder how good I could've become had I ever actually picked up my instrument outside of full-orchestra practice.

We have a piano in our front room, which I walk past everytime I leave the house, and I often think to myself that I'd like to practice my playing skills some more. I wonder if I played it for 5 minutes each time I walk past on my way through the door, how good I'd be right now...

I play a side blown Shakuhachi, but I'd really love to learn something like Piano or violin.
