I am tempted to be offended by that statement.

I've known many people of New Zealand who hate being even associated with Australia.

Anyway, this reminds me of a particular Doonesbury cartoon. Although Garry Trudeau isn't exactly the most patriotic person I can think of. :P

I, too, had an omelette for breakfast. Mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, avocado, and alfalfa sprouts on the inside, loads of green chile and cheese on the outside. Damn fine.

I like my omelete simple. I usually like it with ham, cheese, salsa, and green chile and that's about it. I don't believe in putting about 20 different items of food in an egg.

Yeah, but if it's too simple, all you really have is a more cohesive bunch of scrambled eggs.

Nothing wrong with that. In order to eat the thing you still have to cut it up.

Anyway, I like my omelets with ham, peppers, onions, cheddar, and that's about it. When it passes through my doughnut-hole, it makes me happy.

Declaration of the Pufer, Number 0334

Thou shalt not calleth scrambled eggs omelettes, nor shalt thou define thine scrambled eggs an omelette unless thou hast placed ingredients numbering three inside. This decree shall be noted to be posted as protection against that critique of lady Julia Childs.
