The cat's a commie?

*Sigh*

The cat is not a communist, merely a deluded soul who thinks that spouting nonsense about "the workers" and "the people" can justify acts of sedition and treason against The State. The cat is wrong about this, and will be suitably re-educated just as soon as we can find it.

We actually have yet to see a country in the world be truly communist. Communists strive for an eventual anarchy, the governments around the world called communists are simply socialist, and most of them have really just been nationalists with socialism as a uniting ideal.

A Short Lesson on Different Forms of Communism

Socialism

You have 2 cows and give one to your neighbor.

Nazism

You have 2 cows and give both to the government.

Fascism

You have 2 cows and keep both. The government takes the milk and sells it to you.

Capitalism

You have 2 cows, the government shoots one, milks the other, and pours the milk down the sewer.

Communism

The government takes both cows and shoots you.

Socialists, Nazis, Fascists, and Capitalists are Commies now eh? I'm amazed I've not heard of this development. :P

Yeah, they seem to have done a fairly good job of keeping it under wraps.

I know at least one person who lived on a kibbutz. Evidently they are quite nice.

Yeah, communes only tend to work on the small scale thus far. And the countries you see as communist around the world in the past or present have generally been totalitarian dictatorships only because the leadership needed broad power to turn things into their ideal. The goal was to ultimately create a true communism (which is supposed to be a utopian socialist anarchy), but power tends to corrupt...

Nah. Av is generally lovable and purrs when you stroke the majestic fur that covers his body. Either that or I'm thinking of the cat.

Keep Avatara off of my monitor. I don't want fur in it.
You put what in my Power Mac?

My school uniform is covered in cat fur. I'm sure it isn't Av's though.
