Its like what happens when you cross a phoenix with a super black hole; it's powerful enough to destroy itself, only to be reborn in a vicious cycle of torment and pain. Or in this case, nonsense.
-Avatara, on the life cycle of ATT.
Dude, imagine Redline Trash Talk; the unholy spawn of B&B and ATT.

Unfortunately, since I have no clue of how to play DnD...

2) Grab yourself a PHB (Player Handbook) and some dice. You'll need a d4, d6, d8, d10, d100 (d10 that counts by tens), d12, and d20. It is recommended that you actually have at least 4 d6s and probably a second d8. You could also get one of those crazy d3 thingies, but a d6/2 works just as well.
3) Find some geeks. The geek geeks. The kind that know about D&D. Ask them if they can DM.
4) Get one of them to give you a character sheet, and roll a character. Roll something easy to start on like a fighter. Get help. Lots of help.
5) Play. Learn as you go.
6) ??????
7) Now you know. Too bad there's no profit.

Haha, but all my skills are in knowledges, performs, and diplomacy!
Yeah, it's unconventional, but not the strangest bard I know of. My friend has a Living Greyhawk character that's a half-orc bard with only 10 charisma, and 18 strength, wielding a greatsword. He doesn't have the ability to cast any spells, haha.

Now, however, the xp penalty is hurting a fair amount...

It's never good to have a party with vastly different levels in it. Ask your DM if you can roll up a level 11 to play until you all get to 14 or 15.

I would like to play Warhammer someday, sounds like an interesting game. But far to expensive to enter the market. D&D is relatively cheap, by MTG and Warhammer standards. Yeah, you could buy every single book and pounds of dice, but all you really need is the PHB, and the DM to have the DMG and MM.
