I've seen "Excitement Video" and "Adult World" around here. I never went in either of those though, but I have joked about it.

Now I can't remember whether or not I voted.

In general, I've found adult stores to be either somewhat depressing or kinda' pointless, especially with the existence of the internet. You either have a bunch of ######ed up old dudes shuffling around, not making eye contact, and then ducking into the cubicles in the back, all while paying extraordinary prices for subpar stuff, or you have some sort of giant mega-plex with aisles of dildos in their boxes and heaps of shrinkwrapped mags, all, also, offered for extraordinary prices.

If you're being shady about it, why not sit at home in front of your computer. It's cheaper, it's cleaner, and you don't have to worry about running into your priest outside. If you're going to a megaplex, why not just stay home and order stuff online. It'll be cheaper and it's not like you get to try it out in the store or anything.

However, there are joints like the local Self Serve Toys (probably NSFW, but because of the textual content; there's no nudity/porn) that are different. If you're looking for porn, go online. There's no reason to shop locally any longer. If you're looking for a new toy or a wide selection of protection or some advice on what the best lube would be for anal sex, that's where you go local. Self Serve has operational floor models of every toy they carry (can't drop trou, but can still get the impression :P ), a wide selection of safe sex stuff, and a staff consisting of sex-ed and intimacy trainers to give reccomendations and help you out on whatever you need (along with a library of literature that isn't predominantly picture-based if you want to read up on your problem instead). I mean, what other place will alow you to taste test every lube in the store even if you're just browsing? That's what an adult store should do, provide something that you really can't get (or, at least, can't get reliably) online.

I resent that.

But everything else makes perfect sense. I went to Suzie's because a friend turned 18. It was like, "Oh.. I'm 18 now. I can go to Suzie's. Let's go!" and here I am thinking, "Oh boy.. here we go." It scared me a little bit.

I'm sad to say I've been to Suzie's. And: is it weird that in the video section, the first thing you see are tranny videos??

Proving how naive I am, I looked at those cubicles and asked my friend "Why do they have dressing rooms in here? There aren't many clothes..." My friend looked at me like I was a moron (I guess he frequents the place...haha) and goes sombre and tells me "Those...are...dressing rooms..." A moment of realization dawned upon me...and I felt sick. Good times! Go to Suzie's!

It's weird, or rather, disturbing that the first thing you saw were the tranny videos...

Yeah, but this is the ATT, so it was on the front page while still being a few weeks old. Meaning, epic unburied corpsedig.

I guess... but I didn't really bring it back to life, per se, just brought it back into plain sight.
Of course, zombies aren't technically alive. You bring up an interesting point.

Wait, it's only a Zombie Topic after it is resurrected? Or is any dead unburied topic, including a currently inactive one that has not been brought back, a Zombie?
