I think I might have mentioned that a while ago.

And I pointed out if someone has 1002 posts, and a moderator deletes 1000 of them, his profile will only count the remaining two posts as active posts (this seems to have started mid-November, prior to that all "deleted" posts went to a hidden forum). So its entirely possible that he did make a bunch of posts in one day and someone deleted a lot of them. However, I haven't seen him in the top ten posters at least three of the past few days, so it must've been a couple of super-posting days.

... or a mod jumped the post count nastily and there are no other 800 posts.

It'd have to be an administrator, and they'd need a pretty good reason for doing something like that.

I find it a bit ironic you accuse CaptainTripps of being a jerk in that thread for merely pointing out what should've been obvious.

Eh read the rest of the post Av, he's been so many people and annoyed the hell out of many members on each account. He claims he'll switch accounts but it won't matter.
He'd have to:
A. lose his fetish for post count
B. stop being such a newb

I know, I've been following this drama, but at the time of my post I didn't want to say too much. I doubt either A or B will happen, sooner or later he'll slip up and brag about it again, and I don't think he'll forget any of his "grudges" on his new account, so the evidence will just pile up again. Though maybe after a couple of new accounts he'll finally get it.

D: He gets a new ISP or a proxy so Admin can't trace him.

I haven't jumped accounts, and I don't plan on masquerading.

I do, however, plan on being here less in the next few months.

I'll have to maintain the IRC channel (DE, if you read this, get a third op), and will be popping in and out of here probably more than I really should, but I will try to be here less and bring something semi-worthwhile every once in a while.
