Are you talking about Microsoft Windows or something else?

Because this is supposed to be a place where Micro$oft Windoze does not exist. There is no Pentium-native version of Ares.

/me has, unfortunately, used Windoze while at school. If that counts, 90% of the board's members use Windows.

How is a computer like an air conditioner?

They both stop working when you open Windows.

Hmm.... didn't work quite so well.

My air conditioner still works, it just isn't quite as effective.

Swamp coolers usually require a window to be open in order to work at max efficiency. I feel like that is a very stupid aspect of their function.

I happen to have a chilled water in-ceiling Carrier air conditioning unit. Splits the difference between an evaporative cooler and a refrigerated air unit (functions on the same theory as a reefer, air moving over supercooled pipes, but uses an evaporative stack up on the roof to cool water instead of a condenser cooling refrigerant so it takes less electricity).

I'm forced to use it every school day. A lot. And I really wish this was a Mac school. But no.

Indeed. But the days just aren't what they used to be.
I remeber the good old days of ATT. Back before Ares was even around. It was called "Attention! Time to Talk!" It was the equivalent of a bunch of upper-class gents sitting in comfy chairs in a fancy study with many leatherbound books drinking tea and fine wine. It smelled of rich mahogany.

God, I miss the old days. :P

Maybe that doesn't have any effect for "email notify of replies".

You said "grapes", I was referring to GrapeDragon, not OF.

But it would have an effect for being here.
But Avatara has explained the misundestanding.

edit:
Wait...GrapeDragon? Is this a different GrapeDragon from that guy who only has 2 posts in the Coldstone webboard from the year 2000?
edit again:
Oh. It is. Grape Dragon, not GrapeDragon.
edit a third time:
I still think that was back in 2000.
