What the hell are you people talking/arguing/bleating about?
Honestly i leave the forum for five minute and there's total anarchy!
You should (probably) be ashamed of yourselves!

How do you like my new self-congradulatory signature?

I don't see any "edit post" marks on Avatara's post, either.

I suppose the original idea wouldn't go too bad with some of the music nowadays, as disturbing as that is.

I still don't think DE has volunteered an opinion about this anyway.

mods have the ability to 'disable' edit tags. Just as we can click a box and not use our sigs, Mods can do the same and not leave any edit marks.

It seems I lost. My Power Mac died and I've been confined to (drumroll) a CENTRIS 610 of all things (at least it still runs Ares). The slowest Performa they put in that case (I think) was the 61xx,/60, and I clock in at 20.

Yeah, and I used IE 4 to reply to this... not. Out of curiosity, after I installed 8.5 for the second time, I was curious to see what the boards would look like in IE 4. The colors were right, but I had to scroll a lot to do anything. I've also seen the boards through Lynx. Black background, green text, no images, links green, no formatting, etc.

... and your too-new machine won't run Ares anywhere near as well as that Centris. Classic has its problems :P

That's awesome, AC. I have my old Centris 650 set up, with Ares installed. I usually am on the eMac though.
