All I really need to know is what has been decided on the way that the battle system is going to work or should I just make it and then explain how it works because it may take a long time otherwise.

I am sorry, I have taken a long time to answer you. Nothing has really been decided on yet, but what ideas did you have in mind? Go ahead and post your system. We will probably use whatever you set up.

Time System:
Whew! I think that it has finally been decided upon as real time*. 24 hrs. = 24 hrs.

*Note: A uniform time zone may have to be chosen.

Half Truth, I you have a good battle system and if the time zone can be decided (if necessary), all that is really left is setting up exact costs, incomes, salaries, and various other expenses.

Half Truth, actually it has been decided to use Avatara's battle system. We just need a basic system. The precision will come later.

Also, how are you going to put it on the internet.

Not to mention, what are you going to write it in?

Its basically finished, I am just trying to think of a way to get around one small problem in one of the calculations. I am getting there so it shouldn't be too much longer before its done. Dusk, do you think that I would be able to put it on your server?

I have finally finished the battle calculator. It is a little different to the way that it was orignally intended to be, I just got to a point in the old design where there were too many bugs that kept of appearing to be worth it. I did a little thinking and came up with another way, it is just the first version of it, better ones will come out latter. I just wanted to say that the first working one is finished.

I apologize for not getting an answer up sooner.
Yes, I believe that we can still do this provided we still have some members.

I need to commence work on a single document that is orderly and will explain all the rules. There are a few things left that need to be worked out, though. We have a lot done. From here it shouldn't take too long.

Half Truth: Do you have the calculator up on the internet yet? I'll need to know what the battle rules are or if you changed any, so that I may organize them correctly.

Ah, sorry it has taken me, to, so long to reply Half Truth. Yes, I can put it on my server by all means. It's always on, so it should be appropriate.

Just email me the code, or the necessary php files... If all else fails just call me about it.

I haven't changed any of the rules really, I spend ages trying to get the thing working properly according to all of the rules but every time I fixed one of the problems 2 or 3 more came up so I just have up. I did a little thinking and came up with the design of the one thats up at the moment, it won't be the last version, it will be changed a few times before its completed. The next thing that I am going to do is make a small change so that you can put in the names of the fighting cities and also put in the attack, defence percentages. other than that its all completed.

Things have been rather slack on the board of late, and I have been busy around the holidays too. Nevertheless, I haven't forgotten about Sign-Up. I have begun work on the document that I previously mentioned, but there is a lot left to be done. I hope to do some more work on it over the next few weeks.

Any more updates on how the calculator is going? Just let me know when all the bugs have been worked out.

Lately I have been working on C++ and I would possibly make a carbonised version on the Battle Engine, although it would only be set out as a console it would be a little better.
