Just to give you all fair warning, just because someone's claimed an area doesn't mean I won't stick another fortress, town or island there if I need one. Posted Image

Seriously though, I'm really starting to feel like this is organising Cythera to death. Posted Image On a like note, I'd like to request that anyone writing chronicles set in the future (and I'm fully aware that I'm one of the guilty parties) write them in such a way that they have no effect on current events. If too much is known about the future, it's stifling - it makes it difficult to be spontaneous about the present, if you follow me. I think the TS's will be more free, and fun, if the future is a blank slate.

As for my own chronicle plans, all the stories currently on my 'definite' list are set in the past/present era, there isn't a 'future' one among them - once Dark Legacy is finished.

Aw, cache, now you've gone and made me all worried whether my chron affects anything or not! Posted Image I certainly -hope- not, I don't think it does...

Also, Forcemaster, it might be best if each person just claimed one area for now- especially since #2 is the last one left. That way we can make sure anybody who wants an area can have one. Bryce has more than one, but he made the map, so I think he's entitled to that. Posted Image

I'm currently writing an epic (Slight exaggeration Posted Image ) cron set in the future. I will brook no interference in that matter, mark my words, cache! Posted Image

And - Forcemaster, you can't have two claims, sorry.

But no, I'd rather not take on "another slice" of land.

Cache - true, but I did mention an idea that might open up a few more horizons, though that option is also limited, though more in who is alive at that time than what has happened so far.

I know, and if I hadn't had that in mind with regards to OA, I probably wouldn't have said anything at all. Even so, it still becomes restrictive as far as present or past action is concerned. One other possibility (which I don't really favour) is that we could jump the action ahead about 25 or 30 years, which would effectively put it ahead of Dark Legacy, and probably The Nascency and Bryce's 'epic' as well - although from what I've seen, another 30 to 60 years would probably serve better there. The very major downside of this approach, is that all the strictly human characters would probably have died of old age.

In my cron (Not really epic, but very long for a cron) most of my charicters are dead. Horgan is still alive, although he is portraied as being aged, and presumably Salmaris is still around.

One way to counter this problem is to tie in the charicters in the future cron with charicters in the present - for instance, a charicter in my cron (The star, in fact) is the grandson of Velcarn.

We neeed to aggree on a timeline, next, I think.

Huh? There's a spot left? Cool. I'll take the last one (2). It'll be a suitable spot for my, uh... "Fiery horizon" or whatever I called it, though I'm pretty sure I have no idea what this is for anyhow.
