tssst, all I did was copy the MAHD files to a new file, in the data fork and as a resorce with resorcerer, saved them and they instantly got Quick Time icons, dbbl clicked both and they worked (I love looping!).

Q: Why is space the final fronter?
A: Cause anyone who tryed to live out there would implode to the size of a golf ball. Ever wondered what was in a golf ball??

looks like this topic has been dug up from the grave several times...
On a lighter note this was back when all the mods had to speak in pig latin for a day. Good times.
edit: to add something to my post... the addon files work fine for me...

I agree with Gravian. It only took me about five minutes to devise a method of extracting the MADHs from the Music file. The data in the resources represent the data forks of the music files. I used Resorcerer as well.
For 'converting' them to MP3s, you can export the MADH as an AIFF and then encode with any reasonable encoder, depending on what MADH player you use. PlayerPro (www.quadmation.net) was released as freeware quite recently, and it is rather good.

It is advisable that you don't post in old topics, as this one is 10 months old. This is usually frowned upon.

Now now, we've all gone gravedigging now and again, ususally due to searching and forgetting they are old topics... after all, it isn't really too easy to see that little date on the top of the post, is it?
And plus this place needs all the action it can get, even pointless replies to threads that are long dead.

When I posted there I was helping someone out with a problem, which is kind of different.
