The Gateship with a human piloting and a decent escort(3-4 carrier battlegroups) is invincible! just jumpgate away BEFORE the ship starts falling apart and you'll be all set Posted Image

Elephant people all the way!

anyways its funny that if you play as the gateship and try and emp while there are no ships near by it targets yourself, quite amusing.

What's the point? There is no plug that allows you to play the Cantharan Gateship, is there?

Yes there is... In Between A Rock And A Rock Plus in the Cantharan vs. Ishiman net plugin you can play as the gateship.

In Hera, there are two Gateships: One with 80,000 and one with 40,000 shields (the others are just special animations). If the Gateship had 80,000 in level 19, and was dammaged, then in level 20...

btw, level 3(EVAT assault) of CvI doesn't work. Player 2 can't order his units about, they get built and controlled by a comp AI(gotta figure out how to do that trick, heh-could come in handy in singleplayer levels)

Also the gateship needs balancing, the cantharan player will always win if he builds it Posted Image

It does, the gateship 200,000 sheilds. In 19, you wipe out 80,000, and it jumps away with 120,000 shields still left.

My favorit race is the elejee, since so little is known about them.

You like Elejee? You'll get to play as Elejee (Well, most of the time) in my upcoming major plug-in. I've finished only 2 missions (They are complicated, sort of) and have 12 more to go. Posted Image Plug making is so tiring...

The Gateship has 120,000 shields as it jumps away only because it wouldn't look very good if you could kill it as it jumped out in 19 and then it resurrects in 20 Posted Image it only has 40,000 shields in 20 and was not damaged between 19 and 20. Therefore it had 120 000 in 19, jumped away at 40 000, and then lost the rest in 20 Posted Image

Are you using Vipers Elejee ships? Cause if you are, his weapons for the elejee realy wern't great. So i took the graphics and totaly redid the ships with dual onas pulses and a new ewos pulse and some other new cool powerfull elejee like weapons.

I did this because I origanaly had the elejee as helping the humans in Stars Are Fire.

So anyway, if you want i could try to find them and send 'em to you.

I dunno man, the weapons they have in Viper's plug, which I think was one of the best (graphically), are very capable and the Elejeetian ships can even take out the Auds easily. He simply extrapolated from the only Elejeetian ship that was there and drew it into what seemed to me to be logically designed ships. In Ares the Cruiser has 1 onas pulse and neewo beam. His gunship has Dual Onas Pulse and Neewo beam, but is severely less manueverable. The fighters are equipped with the standard beam weapon of their race, and their sheilds are actually lower than that of the Sals. Their HVD has pulses that register 1/3 more powerful than the Onas, but has a limieted number, and seems (like the sals) to be a more purely offensive vessel. The carrier has a turreted Onas Pulse, just like the humans have a turreted Magneto pulse. The Assault transport has missiles and a beam. It all seems to match the standard set by Ares and makes them a well balanced, powerful race.

Definetly complex. Making the Ares conversion plug was hard because of all the graphical transfers and I think it was the biggest plug I have ever made. Viper and Zell did an excellent job with graphics and weapons and made a great addition to the Ares races. I really think, especially for the Elejee, that they set up a standard for what the race should be like. Plugs are tough for sure though. Especially getting the AI and the conditions down correctly... ugh.

The gunship was a tiny bit to slow, the HVD only has two weapons neither are as effective as the ishman destroyers(he just used the canthrian(SP?) destroyers weapon), the carrier is too large on scale and the turreted onas pulse does little and vipers version of the dual onas pulse was too slow. All in all, i find that the gunship the HVD and the Carrier don't have weapons to match their size, nor some of the speed to match their style.
