My grandpa was accepted there when he was sixteen. He got a free-ride scholarship to Yale. He knew eighteen languages, and was going to be a foreign embassedor, or american embassedor...one of the two. His second choice was rocket science. Quite the studmuffin in his day.

Oh, a little more than that. Two and a half, possibly three.

It's worth a try. I'm an international student, so I'm a bit of a special case - I'm not competing in the same playing field as most American students. But if you have high SATs, good references, and an impressive portfolio of achievements, go for it. You've got nothing to lose but the pricey application fee.

Maybe I'll pretend to be Australian, I lived here for 6 months after all (leaving Saturday Posted Image). I think I can manage good SATs and references, but the portfolio thing could be hard. I have good grades, but I'm not into doing every club at school and volunteering around the community. (I prefer to become the god of Footmen Frenzy and post here Posted Image) My only activities are tennis(2), golf(4), chess club(3), and model U.N(2).

As a wise woman (a Law School recruiter) once told me, it's better to have been President of a single campus organization and have a number of hours at a single charity than to simply be a member of a hundred different clubs and have simply shown up at a dozen community service events. The same logic can be applied to high school experience as well.

That sounds good.
Its time to start the Saucon Valley High School Warcraft III club, or Apple products club! Oh how awesome it would be.
