The Lord of the Rings Triligy has some of the best music ever composed in it. Ever.

Also, most of John William's work is amazing.

I think Black Flag or Death by Stereo should be the music for every movie in the world.

Where were you, Vec?

TTT is actually better, but the LotR soundtrack as a whole is amazing.

You guys are in the wrong topic. Posted Image

It really sucks to have a boring sig. You know, the kind that drones on forever and never really says anything. I try my best to never have one of those. Every time I make a new sig I try to get it to be a truly outstanding sig. Some people have sigs like that. With neat (EVula) links and stuff. Witty quotes are good too. But then some people have really, really, boring sigs that you'd die before reading more of. They just go on, and on, and on...those sigs really annoy me. I mean, they say nothing and nobody really cares anyway! I pity the people who have those.

Vec, not just some of John Williams work is amazing. It ALL is the best in the world. I was very impressed with Hanz Zimmer's score on the last Samurai, he was the best choice. Zimmer is more partial to the softness of strings, whil Willaims prefers the strong sound of the brass.

The movie isn't very accurate, in my mind.

They took some licenses; I think there was nothing too drastic, though.

Definitely! Helm's Deep song rocks!

question: The song from Star Wars Episode II : Across the Stars, is the same theme as part of the prologue from Hook. What's up with that? Can they do that?

Nobody ever told me this, but this is how I interpret it: Azzy++, in programming terms, is the equivalent of saying "Azzy + 1 = Azzy", which is related to raising karma. Although saying "Azzy++" obviously doesn't raise karma, it's a way of saying "good one" or in general praising someone for doing something cool, such as Azzy's witty remark. Posted Image

He CAN do that, because it is original music written by him, and only used by him.

Yes, it's his music, but it isn't his movie. He can't have the liberties of using whatever music he wants in any movie he wants. I don't even think they were done by the same company, then again I could be wrong. But, nevertheless.
