I was reading about some random TV personality women who's made a career from looking at people's poop and telling them about their diet, on tv. Apparently she has a toilet with a ledge so after every 'movement' she can look at her excrement...

There are some strange people on this planet...

Those toilets are normal on continental Europe, if you feel a large stool beginning to exit, you need to aim the bastard or risk it sliding all over your cheek.

I'm eating a banana that I sliced into a glass of Clamato (I made a yummy coctel de mariscos over the weekend, and have some leftover Clamato) right now. My question is, does the rest of the world do the Clamato thing? I know Canada and Mexico (and those states greatly influenced by Canada and/or Mexico) do, but how about you Brits? Vegemite toast and Clamato down under? Czech cesars a big hangover cure?

I can honestly say I have no idea what a clamato is, or what one would do with it. So that's a no from England smile.gif

I've seen that stuff but could never fathom what people could possibly want with it. Course, I don't like tomato juice OR most shellfish so...

I'm not sure if anyone is a big fan of straight Clamato (picture heavily spiced stewed tomatoes, pureed, with salty broth added - not exactly bad, but certainly not the most refreshing thing ever), but it's good for making bloody marys (wildly popular under the name caesar in Canada), as a mixer for beer (wildly popular amongst the Mexican crowd under the name chelada), and is a solid base for cocteles (spicy tomato and lime-based Mexican soups, served cold, usually containing seafood (often raw shellfish) and/or fresh, raw vegetables (avocado, tomato, cucumber, peppers), but also just about everything else, including fruit).

If you see Clamato listed as a mixer or ingredient, you can usually all but guarantee that the drink/dish will be refreshing as all hell, even if the stuff itself isn't. Everyone I've ever made try a coctel de mariscos (either made by me or a restaurant) has had nothing but praise for it.

I've never got tomato as a drink. A Bloody Mary was the only cocktail I would ever make and not taste. The smell made my stomach turn.

On a side note, I made a damned fine Bloody Mary. I had an 8 strong stag do come in to the bar on a Sunday morning. I made them all Bloody Marys and they said they were damned good. 7 months later one of them came in and remembered me and my drink. I was rather happy with that smile.gif

So this is an ATT parody of a B&B topic that rather sucked to begin with? I have tried and tried to find humor in this situation but it is just not coming.
Why am I here? Why do I exist, and what is
my purpose in this universe?

The humour is derived by laughing at Shlimazel's total lack of originality and humour!
