True; twinkies can, in fact, mold.

The Mouldy Twinkies. Sounds like some kind of neo-post-modernist-punk-indie-type band name.

Why yes. I do feel bad. In fact, I feel really bloody awful. You will never know how bad I feel.

That's because you're all going to die!
Why am I here? Why do I exist, and what is
my purpose in this universe?

(Answers: 'Cause you are. 'Cause you do. 'Cause I got a
shotgun, and you ain't got one.)

True: I've had an entire box of Twinkies mold before. They will not survive the nuclear holocaust as we thought they would, unfortunately.

Why is it that xkcd makes you feel very intelligent when you read it, yet is drawn with stick figures?

It's not like those are assumed to be mutually exclusive...

Some of them are hilariously obscure as well...and "getting" them makes me feel smart/really dorky.

I think the stick figures really aid in projection. For instance, I'm certain that all of the ladies in xkcd are all kinds of attractive, despite the fact that they're stick figures with hair. If they were drawn in a more complex manner, some of that would undoubtedly be lost. It's like the projective magic provided by books in an easy to comprehend image.

I wonder if anyone has ever complained to Randall Monroe that xkcd sets unrealistic expectations for women's bodies.
INTELLECT: By convention there is sweetness, by convention bitterness, by convention color, in reality only atoms and the void.

SENSES: Foolish intellect! Do you seek to overthrow us, while it is from us that you take your evidence?

I'd say I'd only get around 1/4 the xkcd comics i've read. Most are far too clever for me to even begin to comprehend. Others are too surreal to be funny and the remaining just aren't funny/to my taste.

I'd go with Cyanide and Happiness anyday over xkcd.

There are several webcomics I check regularly, and xkcd has only just become one of them. I base my decision upon consistency, and it's only just made the mark for me.
