Wouldn't they be monkeylizards?

Depends on whether or not they're carnivorous.

No, you only find drop bears in XXXX, not in Cythera. Perhaps they've migrated from one world to another?

just to throw this idea up in the air, Cythera 2 could take place in both the past and future of it. I think there is another game out there that has something like that. In the past could be when Alric is trying to become the Land King and future could be when some explorers land at a port or such.

I think that Zelda: Oracle of Time was where ig ot this idea, not too sure though. I actually havent played that game.

The idea was that you played two roles, one before Cythera 1 and one after Cythera 1. The actions you did in the past would affect your char in the future, kinda like that, but then that gets really complicated

Katerei and I wrote a chronicle like that, once. Oh, hey, the board's been upgraded to 2.2.

But you might be able to do them without, like you could hang onto the boat and kick, or climb the mountain without ropes or anything.

And, I like your idea, Dark Jet, now I understand it. :P

What about starting fires? Fireball just blows up everything around it, it doesn't start a fire. And not the rune either, I'm talking about like camp fires or something.

But, then you might accidently start a forest fire! Like UrSylph says, "Only Ignae is allowed to start forest fires." Or something like that....

Wouldn't work, unlike EV, Cythera is not made for pluggins and all the data is incoded with no templates.

Incorrect, the first part anyway. Ever notice that useless 'User Custom Data' file in the main folder? That was intended to be the Cytherian equivelant to a Plug-In. However, Glenn never released the Delver Engine to the public, and so such things are a logistical nightmare to properly code. Furthermore, the heavy incription on the Cythera Engine's Coding makes it nigh-on impossible to read.

If you were to go with this concept, I would suggest the game to run the timeframes as two scenarios in parellel rather than just one, with each scenario alluding to the other and presenting vague clues to the overal puzzle. Of course, you could do what you suggest and proceed to blame the Undine for the whole temporal brick-a-brack, but personaly I find that to be a bit cliché.

How do you get him to say that? Do you ask him 'fire' or something? I can't be bothered looking at the moment.

Something like that, is actually a U.S.A forestry whatever saying: Smoky says, "Only you can prevent forest fires."

Smoky is their mascot, he was a bear cub that survived a forest fire .
