Sadly, this topic about threads with no topic has a much higher average of words per post than most topics in recent history.

He didn't. He looked at the most recent page and saw some long posts. Long posts push the average words/post count higher.

Hehehehehe. Nice to know that, Sarg.

Though I keep expecting us to somehow draw SA's wrath and have yet another topic lock… good to see it hasn't happened yet.

Presumably SA will return in a week or two, and if he thinks we've been behaving, he'll prolong the locking. Seriously, unless ATT grows, the cycle of lockings is necessary for our survival; it forces us to make new topics and keep away stagnation.

We ought to do an ATT memberdrive on other, more popular boards.

I say somebody needs to post another "Happy Birthday <BnBer>" topic. Then we can get another nuclear lock of doom.

Nah, we don't need lockings. A member drive would be good – I recommend the Redline board as there are many fresh newbies ripe for the picking.

If he's already had 16 cups of coffee we just have to slip him the same amount of caffeene that would be in 34 cups of coffee, and we have to do this soon. Then he'll quiet down if he wants to or not.

I think you will still be saying that in a year and 20 nuclear locks of doom.
